Requirements
Successful applicants will:
- Have a working knowledge of standard drink recipes
- Have a working knowledge of spirits, wine and beer
- Understand classes of alcohol, different glasses, brand names and garnishments
- Have a working knowledge of bar equipment
- Have basic math and computer skills
- Be able to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, weekends and late hours (closing time may be as late as midnight)
- Be able to stand, walk, reach, bend, etc. for extended periods of time
- Be able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Have a current Illinois food handler certification, or be willing to earn certification within seven (7) days of hire
- Have a current Illinois BASSET certification, or be willing to earn certification within seven (7) days of hire
